D’Banj Flops In Zimbabwe, Gets Booed by fans

Talented musician Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, the Koko master himself popularly known as D’Banj, failed to perform to expectations in front of
nothing less than hundreds Zimbabweans who thronged the Glamis Arena for the Lion Lager Summer Beer Festival tagged 'Battle of Africa' on Saturday night.

The show was opened by King Shaddy followed by Guspy Warrior with a low key performance. however, all eyes were on D’banj because he was the main attraction at this year’s edition.

Fans where rather left disgruntled and regretting ever parting with their hard earned cash to attend the show as he failed to wow the crowd.

Despite performing hit songs like Fall in Love, Oliver Twist, Kukere remix, Don't Tell Me Nonsense, Igwe and Why Me, the fans were still not satisfied.

After failing to rise to the occasion, he tried sexually suggestive dances with ladies he calls "Kokolates" on the stage, but still could not win the hearts of many entertainment hungry fans.

However, Ugandan chanter Bebe Cool did his best despite being a nonentity in Zimbabwe. He simply put on a spirited performance despite the fact that the majority of locals are not familiar with his stuff.

From the Zimbabwe twitter chatter to newspaper headlines which all read ‘D’Banj outshined by Bebe Cool’, it could be seen that the night belonged to his visiting counterpart, Bebe Cool, real name Moses Ssali.

it will be recalled that, Nigerian twins P-Square also performed at the same festival last year with a glamorous performance that left everyone gasping for breath.
